Merchant Trade and Office Work

The professional class of salaried employees, another "product" of industrialization, is given special consideration in an exhibition section called "Merchant Trade and Office Work". Taking the example of overseas trade, a determining sector of Hamburg's economy, various stages are portrayed which play decisive parts in the importation of three selected raw materials.
